Pop-Up Vendor Space in Long Beach

Mini Monster Cafe rents patio space to local makers at 5211 E. 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, Long Beach, CA 90803. If you sell candles, jewelry, ceramics, apparel, art, plants, skincare, or home goods and you are looking for a place to pop up in Long Beach, you can book a slot on our patio.

We are two blocks from the beach on 2nd Street, with steady walk-by traffic from locals and visitors, especially on weekend afternoons. Our own guests are already coming in for dessert and boba, so you are set up in front of people who are already stopping.

Slots

There are two slots each day: 11am to 3pm and 4pm to 8pm. Rates depend on the day, and they are listed on the application form. The fee is flat, and we do not take a percentage of your sales.

Nothing gets attached to our building, railing, umbrellas, or fixtures. Load in through the patio entrance, be fully set by the start of your slot, and clear within 30 minutes of the end. Walkways stay clear at all times.

Who can vend right now

We can currently host non-food vendors only: candles, jewelry, ceramics, apparel and accessories, art and prints, plants, skincare and body, and home goods.

We are working through Long Beach city health permitting so we can add food vendors later. If you make food, you can still apply and we will add you to the waitlist and reach out as soon as food is approved.

How much does it cost to pop up at Mini Monster Cafe?

Rates vary by day, and weekdays cost less than weekends. Current rates are listed at the top of the application form. The fee is flat and we do not take a percentage of your sales.

What times are the pop-up slots?

There are two slots per day. Slot one runs 11am to 3pm and slot two runs 4pm to 8pm.

Do I need a business license and insurance?

Yes. Before your date we need a current Long Beach business license and general liability insurance naming Snow Monster, Inc. as additional insured. If you are still working on either one, apply anyway and tell us where you are in the process.

Can food vendors apply?

Not yet. We can only host non-food vendors until Long Beach health permitting is complete. Food makers can apply to join the waitlist and we will reach out as soon as food is approved.

How do I book a date?

Fill out the vendor interest form and we will follow up with available dates. Payment in advance holds your date. Cancel 72 hours ahead for a refund or a reschedule, and rain days get rescheduled.
